DANS ME – is a multi-purpose dance school that teaches established dance forms and dance for fitness purposes. We pride ourselves on being a comfortable home space for people regardless of age, race, stature or dancing skill. Come enjoy the feeling of spirit and community with us! That’s what DANS is all about!
We cater to multiple forms and ethnicities and have been in business since 2013. Each of our dance classes are designed carefully in order to nurture every student’s unique talent which allows them to perform confidently.
The name of the company was not chosen just because it sounds cool in French. It is an acronym for the skill upgrades we actively coach and symbolic of all ages we cater to..
(D) for Dreamers – focuses on the skills of hand and leg coordination, rhythm recognition and direction.
(A) for Achievers – focuses on the skills of hand and leg coordination, rhythm recognition, direction and memory.
(N) for Naturals – focuses on the skills of hand and leg coordination, rhythm recognition, direction, memory, formations and partner work.
(S) for Stars – focuses on the skills of hand and leg coordination, rhythm recognition, direction, memory, formations, partner work, expressions and energy.
The different categories of students come together to embody the spirit of DANS, and dancers trained by our system develop above average skills due to this dedicated effort to improve at each stage.
In addition to all this, the spirit of community and togetherness ensures that everyone feels included. This encourages people to naturally become extroverts with good social skills.
